There’s so much to see and do on Mt Buller!

Winter 

Here’s a few ideas to get you started. Ski and snowboarding – Mt Buller is renowned for its Skiing and snowboarding and with good reason – there’s’ a lot of runs to suit every ability. Ski school will help put the polish on your style and don’t forget that there’s nordic skiing available.

Eat drink and be Merry – with the most restaurants and bar’s of any Victorian mountain resort, you could forget the skiing and just hits the restaurants and bars. With your own complete kitchen at the lodge you can cook up a storm and have a great night in.

Shop ’til you drop – there’s everything from a supermarket on up to high fashion with stores and boutiques dotted all over the mountain. Feed your retail addiction.

Movies and entertainment – the Buller Cinema runs two features a night and there’s always entertainment and music in the bars and hotels. Check out the noticeboards for the latest updates.

Kick back and relax – who says there’s anything wrong with just sitting in the lodge and watching the big, fat snowflakes land on the snowgums? Not us. There’s easily walkable trails that allow you to get out amongst it and enjoy the natural environment too.

Try something different –  there’s also cross-country skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, snow shoe-ing, night skiiing and telemarc skiing, to keep you busy. Check in at the ski school for when and how.

Summer

  •  Walk the miles of trails seeing the wonderful flora and fauna. There are easy walks and more challenging trails if you’re up for it.
  • Mountain bikers can enjoy the trails and roads and some of the best views in Victoria as they are doing it.
  • Mt Buller is a great base for touring the area.
  • Try fishing along the Howqua, delatite or Buttercup rivers.
  • Just relax, enjoy the pristine alpine air and relax!
